Good News of Great Joy Christmas 2024
We are just under 10 days away to the start of our Good News of Great Joy Christmas Mission.
Praying Together
We will start the mission by praying together on Sunday 1st December at 6:30pm at Orpington Baptist Church. We need God to work in people's hearts that they might respond to an invitation this Christmas.
During the two weeks, from 1st - 15th December, we are encouraging every believer to take an opportunity to invite someone who doesn't know Jesus to a Christmas service. If every single Christian, from every church in Orpington does this then 1,500-2,000 invitations will be given this Christmas. So please prayerfully consider who you can invite.
Carol Singing on the High Street
We will also have two opportunities to go out and invite people:
Saturday 7th December in the morning, we will be singing carols and handing out invitations outside the old Thornburrows shop - this will probably be from 10:30-11:30am (we will confirm exact timings).
Carol Singing at the Station
On Tuesday 10th, we will be handing invitations at Orpington Station. We will gather to pray at 7am at Orpington Baptist Church, then hand out invites from 7:30-8:30am.
